How to take part, step by step
How to get the most out of Huma Finance
  1. 1
Decide first how much you will leave in and for how long. Size and patience decide here: Feathers go by money deposited and by term, not by daily activity.
  2. 2
Connect a Solana wallet with USDC. If your country is blocked you will find out here, because they do not publish the list: better to find out before moving anything.
  3. 3
Pick a mode. Classic if you want the 8% a year plus base Feathers. Maxi if you give up the interest to take maximum Feathers. It is not reversible for free, so think first.
  4. 4
Pick a term if you are going for Feathers: three months multiply by 2 and six months by 3. It is the only published lever that really multiplies.
  5. 5
Do not pull it out early. Forcing a withdrawal during the lock costs the accrued Feathers, which is exactly what you came for.
  6. 6
When the season closes, look at the rate they publish. It is the number that turns your Feathers into money, and the only one that tells you whether it was worth it.
Watch out for
  • Watch your inbox: on 14 September 2026 Huma warned of fake emails, from domains such as humaverse.info, leading to a collection portal that is not theirs and asking you to log in with your wallet. Connecting it there can drain it. Airdrop news only goes out on their Discord and blog: an email sending you to collect is not from Huma. Type huma.finance by hand.
  • They were hit: on 11 May 2026 they suffered a security incident on Polygon for $101,400. It is a small figure next to their $225 million TVL, but it is a real breach and you should know before depositing.
  • The money stays put for whatever lock you choose, and taking it out early is expensive: you lose the accrued Feathers. Do not put here what you might need next week.
  • They filter by country and do not publish where. It is the most uncomfortable gap on this entry: you can do the whole journey and find the door shut when you connect.
  • They set the Feather-to-$HUMA rate when each season closes, and it has been rising — 8.3, then 23.5, then 30. Three rises do not guarantee a fourth: it is their decision, not a formula.
  • The $HUMA token already trades, so what you earn is worth whatever it is worth that day. This is not a future airdrop: it is yield in an asset with a market price.
Our verdict, today

Feathers convert into $HUMA at the close of each season, and the rate has kept rising: 8.3 in season 0, 23.5 in season 1 and 30 in season 2. Season 5 is open. The play: pick your mode; Classic pays 8% a year on top of the Feathers, and Maxi gives up that interest for maximum points.

  • The main lever is picking the right mode, and they are opposites. Classic pays a steady 8% a year plus base Feathers. Maxi gives up the interest — 0% — and in exchange gives maximum Feathers. If you believe in the token, Maxi; if you want yield today, Classic.
  • The second lever is time, and it is published: locking for three months multiplies Feathers by 2, and six months by 3. It is the same money earning triple, in exchange for not being able to touch it.
  • What makes this entry different: they publish the rate. At the close of each season they say what a Feather converted into in $HUMA — 8.3 in season 0, 23.5 in season 1 and 30 in season 2. Almost no points programme does that, and it is what lets you do the maths instead of guessing.
  • Where the yield comes from, which is worth understanding: they finance real-world receivables and payments — remittances, company invoices — with the deposited money. It is not token emission: it is a business that charges for advancing money. That also means that if the business fails, the yield fails.
  • The audits are among the few we could confirm on the auditor's own site, not just on theirs: Halborn, sec3, Spearbit and Certora. A platform saying «audited by X» is not enough; this is.
  • Third-party money measuring itself: $225 million in TVL. And named backing: $38 million raised on 11 September 2024 with awarded Global, HashKey and the Stellar Development Foundation.

What multiplies is published and it is two things: the mode — Maxi gives up the 8% a year for maximum Feathers — and the term, which doubles at three months and triples at six. What they do NOT publish: how many Feathers each dollar earns per day, when season 3 closes and which countries they filter. Searched on 25 Aug 2026 in their Huma 2.0 documentation, the referral pages and their terms.

THERE IS A COUNTRY BLOCK AND THEY DO NOT PUBLISH THE LIST. It is confirmed that they filter by region, but they do not say where, and we looked on 25 August 2026 in their documentation and terms. Check it yourself before moving money: if your country is out, you will find out when you connect.

$38 million raised on 11 September 2024, with awarded Global, HashKey and the Stellar Development Foundation. A named founder: Dr. Richard Liu.

The decisive fact: here the money does not sit idle for free. Classic pays a steady 8% a year on top of the points, and Maxi gives up that interest to take the maximum. A three-month lock doubles the points; six months triples them. And the gap, which grates: they filter by country and do not publish the list.
